- My portrait of Bettina Funcke from Manager Magazin’s Kunst & Krauts story has been accepteinto the PDN Photo Annual.

I recently photographed the Russian American fertilizer magnate, Alexander Rovt, in his recently completed “empire style” 27 million dollar upper east side townhouse. You can read the Forbes article and see a slide show here. Also of interest, he just bought 14 Wall Street for over $300 million cash.
I am interviewed in the current issue of Emerging Photographer magazine about my Chevy Chase shoot.
You can read the story here. Funny that they call me a lifestyle photographer.
Here is a new campaign I shot in November for Huggies. It was a lot of fun working again with Ogilvy Chicago. The dads pictured here are, from top, Ben Cherry, Sergio Fuenzalida, Ron Charles and Leo Coltrane.
Last year I photographed Mercy Townsend, winner of the Gerber Generation Photo Search.
The original Gerber Baby, Ann Turner Cook came by to meet her.

Melanie Sawyer was our baby wrangler. Thanks to her, Mercy worked with us happily for about 2 hours which is exceptional for a 2 year old.
Ellen Silverstein was styling wardrobe and Nikki Wang fixing Mercy’s hair as her parents watch proudly.
Everyone crowded around Some Studio to see Mercy give Ann a hug.
Can you tell which one is a Gerber Baby?
Thanks to Josh Freiwald for the behind the scenes photos.
Check your seat back pocket for the February 1st issue of American Way Magazine.
You can see more of my work for American Way here.
Here is one of my favorite outtakes:
Just before the holidays I photographed Jon Cheigh of Cohen and Steers for Barron’s. You can see the article here.
I photographed Shane Smith for Forbes at the Williamsburg, Brooklyn, offices of Vice. We also shot at his favorite after work spot, Hotel Delmano. You can read the story here.
My photograph of Jacqueline Novogratz graces the cover of the latest edition of Forbes magazine. Here is the story.
Jacqueline Novogratz has created a non profit fund called Acumen.
Here are some outtakes from our shoot.
This is my 9th Forbes cover. The do not come about that often and it’s always an honor. My last one was Clay Christensen.
Here is a photograph I took of Jacqueline in 2004 for Fortune.
And here she is on Charlie Rose.
I am fortunate to have been enlisted by Spotco to photograph David Hyde Pierce and Colby Minifie for a new play at Manhattan Theater Club called Close Up Space. Previews begin December 1.
Richard Ketchum is the CEO of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). I photographed him for Smart Money.
Last year Forbes hired me to photograph the founders of a website called Airbnb which facilitates short term apartment rentals. I photographed them in a property listed on their site which they happened to be staying in for the week. You can read the article here.
They are, above from left: Nathan Blecharczyk, Brian Chesky (in mirror) and Joe Gebbia.
Last month I photographed John Paul DeVito for Forbes at Ground Zero. The Freedom Tower is pictured behind him. John Paul lead 13 coworkers from the 87th floor of One World Trade Center to safety just seconds before the collapse of building number Two. In the article he writes about how the events that day changed his life.
You can read the full account of his experience that morning on the New York Times, dated 9/16/01
